Spherocone Roller Tester

The Spherocone Roller Tester is a special device for measuring and determining the degree of wear on the spherocone roller for Ball Scanners. Wear on the spherocone roller creates pole caps on the poles of the inspected ball. As wear increases, the size of the pole caps increases. If the wear of the roller reaches a certain degree and the pole cap exceeds the size of the probe’s engagement, an uninspected area will appear on the surface of the ball. With the Spherocone Roller Tester, you can quickly and reliably evaluate the size of the pole caps and thus ensure that you always check the entire surface of the ball.

The Spherocone Roller Tester offers three methods for determining the wear of the spherocone roller. Fast and effective electronic measurement with automatic evaluation and two methods for simple visual inspection, laser marking and color marking.
